Frequently asked questions

Is the app secure?

Yes. All data is encrypted (HTTPS). Passwords are hashed with scrypt. Payments are handled by Stripe (PCI certified). Legal signatures go through Lleida.net with advanced electronic signature.

Can I change plans at any time?

Yes. You can upgrade or cancel your plan from Administration > Plan. Changes apply instantly. If you cancel, you go back to the free plan without losing data.

Does it work on mobile?

Yes. Comuvi is a responsive web app that works on any browser (mobile, tablet, desktop). You can also install it as a PWA or publish it on the App Store / Google Play via Capacitor.

Do I need to install anything?

No. Comuvi works directly in the browser. No app installation required. Residents just open a link and they are in.

Who can see the Administration section?

Only the board, the property manager and the president. Owners and tenants cannot see it. Within Administration you can configure which sections each role can see.

How many languages does it support?

7: Spanish, English, Catalan, Basque, Galician, French and Portuguese. Each user chooses theirs from their profile.

Can I manage multiple communities?

Yes. A single user can belong to multiple communities and switch between them with one tap. Property managers can manage dozens of buildings from the same account.

How do I migrate from WhatsApp?

Create your community, invite residents by email (you can send several at once) and post an announcement saying that official communication is now on Comuvi. In 5 minutes you are up and running.
